For prepared Viola da Gamba and tape

Aporia was composed in collaboration with musician extraordinaire Anton Izgagin. The Gamba is prepared with horse hair from a cello bow which are tied to both A-strings of the instrument. Aporia relies heavily on extended techniques, where the musician plays different materials in each hand. The tape part consists of manipulated recordings of Viola da Gamba.
