Gitanjo was composed as a part of my bachelors thesis at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm in 2018. In the piece a guitar, a banjo, syntezisers, effects and motors are connected in a large feedback network - when one instrument is being play it can trigger any or all other thus creating a composite instrument - the Gitanjo. The instruments are all placed on a table, prepared and played with various extended techniques.
