Tickle the wires was written for Konstellation:Kvartett in 2020. The piece uses motors inside the piano which are connected to the amplified strings. When the string instruments are played they set the motors in motion which in turn strikes the strings of the piano. The piano is also prepared with horsehair from a cello bow. Other electronics effects used are ring modulation and delay.
